The 3 Things You Need to do When You Visit LA

LA

LA

So the dates are set, you’ve got your flights and your hotel booked, and you’re counting down the sleeps until you finally get to go to LA; but, once you get there, how are you going to spend your time?

It’s easy to be overwhelmed with the choices available when you first touch down in LA. The first thing you need to do is get to your hotel, and the safest and most comfortable way to do this is without doubt Blacklane’s LAX Limo Service.

Once you’ve managed to offload your luggage at your room, though, what’s next? Well, to help you get some ideas about how to spend your time in LA when you’re looking for fun and exciting things to do, we’ve compiled this short list of activities.

Visit Universal Studies, Hollywood

Obviously, this is a must-see for anyone on their first trip to the city. Whether you’re taking in the sights on a tour of their various film sets, finding amazing souvenirs in the endless shops, enjoying the extremely broad range of delicious foods suitable for any palette, or having a blast on the park’s rides, anyone can find something to love about this amazing theme park.

Our personal favorite part of Universal Studios would have to be Water World, where you’ll be able to see an amazing team of animal trainers work alongside their adorable cast to perform a mesmerizing show for spectators of all ages. Likewise, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter is an incredible experience for youngsters and older fans of the movies alike.

Go on a Tour of Hollywood and Beverly Hills

There’s literally no better place in the world to spot celebrities than Los Angeles, especially in the Hollywood and Beverly Hills areas. Whether you’re enjoying the cruise along palm-filled streets, or enjoying the panoramic vistas visible from Mulholland Drive, being able to see the neighborhoods where your favorite stars reside while your tour guide shares trivia about their day-to-day lives is an incredibly entertaining experience.

One home worth making sure you see is Ryan Seacrest’s $37 million, nine thousand two hundred square foot estate, which he recently purchased from Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi. It’s a mansion most of us would struggle to even dream about owning!

Venice Beach Boardwalk

If you’re strapped for cash, though, there are still plenty of ways to enjoy the City of Angels. Our favorite is the Venice Beach Boardwalk. Not only is the boardwalk an incredibly romantic place to spend a summer evening, but the combination of attractions, shops, and countless gorgeous murals make it a must-see for anyone with time to spend during their visit.

Whether you’re checking out Muscle Beach, consulting Zoltar for some sagely advice, visiting the spots where “White Men Can’t Jump!” was filmed, or just taking in the endless ocean, you’ll never run out of things to do on the boardwalk.

This post only mentions a fraction of the amazing attractions that make Los Angeles a must-see for anyone who enjoys traveling, and especially those who would like to visit the home of Hollywood. Hopefully we’ve helped you to gather some great ideas for when you do get there, but remember to keep checking back for more great posts like this!
